Caring and Nuture Ministries

The Caring Ministries of Trinity United Methodist Church offers love, care and help to church members, friends, and family in times of need. In addition to providing support, encouragement, and care for those in need, this ministry also provides opportunities for others to use their spiritual gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.

Bereavement Committee

Blood Drive
We have dedicated group of individiuals who work with Life Share Blood.  We offer quarterly opportunities to give blood.
Bulletin Delivery
Each week a group of volunteers deliver the Sunday bulletin to area nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home bound persons.

Homebound Communion
Church members provide communion once a month to those who are homebound or living in nursing homes.
Homebound Visitors
Volunteers contact those who are shut-in, in nursing homes, or assisted living once a month.
Hospitality  Committee
This group provides receptions and other forms of welcome and care for congregational events.

Workshops

Grief Recovery Workshops are held periodically.  These workshops help people recognize the different stages of grief and provide guidance in dealing with the many issues relating to the death of a loved one.

Hospital Vistation
Each day church members visit persons who are in the hospital.  Support, love, and prayers are offered during each visit.
Hospital Follow-up Visitation
Love and care does not stop after you are released from the hospital.  Church members phone persons who are recently released from the hospital to offer additional care, support, and prayers.
New Arrival Network
The joy of a new child is celebrated by the entire church whether through birth or adoption.  Each new child recives Welcome Baby from the church family.
