Prayer Labyrinth
Picture the Christian journey as a winding path, a path to be walked intentionally and prayerfully, and you have pictured our prayer labyrinth. The labyrinth looks like a maze but it is not. There is no puzzle to solve, just one and only path leading to an open space at the center, then back out again. You may find that following the labyrinth is a calming, even healing experience, somehow freeing your mind and spirit to make new connections to God.
The labyrinth is available on a periodic basis. Check the events/calender page for dates and times.

Welcome to Trinity, a house of prayer! When we gather for worship, fellowship, study, and service, we pray. We pray to glorify God. We pray for each other. We pray for God's world.
They say that prayer is the central avenue God uses to transform us. There are some special opportunities at Trinity for you to grow in your prayer life.

Centering Prayer Workshop
CENTERING PRAYER. Join Dr. Bob Shield as he leads an introductory workshop on the Christian spiritual practice of Centering Prayer. Learn how to grow in your relationship with God by cultivating interior silence and by opening your mind and heart to the presence and activity of the Holy Spirit. Centering Prayer provides a simple way of responding to the gracious invitation to rest in God: “Be still, and know that I am God!”
The class will be held on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. in the Nita McKnight Parlor. For parents with children, childcare and a youth study hall will be provided. At 5:00 p.m. those who wish may go to the Dishman Chapel for a 30 minute time of Centering Prayer, and then on to supper in Vivion Hall. The class will begin on February 24. Centering Prayer is one of the most potent ways to personally live into our new mission statement: Know God. Be Transformed. Love. To register for the Centering Prayer Workshop, please click here.

Monthly Prayer Calendar
Each month our prayer ministries team publishes a daily prayer calendar. Each day offers a scripture verse or quote to meditate upon. To view this month's prayer calendar click here. |
Centering Prayer
Centering prayer is the simple practice of sitting quietly with God, offering ourselves to a process of interior transformation, deepening our relationship with the One who loves us. Join us Wednesday afternoons at 5:00PM in Dishman Chapel. There is the reading of a psalm then a time of stillness. The church bells at 5:30 signal the end of our prayer time. Childcare is provided. |

Intercessory Prayer
We have a group of people at Trinity who lift up special prayer needs to God every day. If you would like them to pray for you or someone you know, just send us an email . The requests are prayed for daily for two weeks. You may resubmit your requests at any time. We would also appreciate hearing from you when you receive an answer to your prayers.
