WORSHIP WITH US THIS WEEK
ABOUT OUR SERVICES
Worship is at the heart of all that we do at Trinity United Methodist Church. Everyone is invited to join us as we sing praises, hear the scriptures, offer our gifts to God, and grow in our faith.  There are three weekly services at Trinity.  We offer two services on Sunday mornings at 8:15 AM and 10:30 AM.  On Wednesday there is the Refresh service at 6:30 PM.

8:15  Service
Our 8:15 Service on Sunday is a delightful blend of new and traditional.  The service provides a time of community prayer concerns, joyful music from a variety of musical styles, and God's message brought forth each Sunday.  Many people enjoy the use of the large screens and the relaxed casual atmosphere.
10:30 Worship
Our main service each week is at the 10:30 service.  This service invites people to experience the grace of God through the sounds of the pipe organ and Chancel Choir, through the beauty of the stained glass windows, the sacredness of scriptures, and the powerful messages brought by our minister each week.  Though the services lends itself to the traditional it is known for the friendship and caring expressed by the church family each week.
Refresh
It is the middle of the week.  Life is stressful and hurried.  You need just a few moments to sit, relax, and be in the presence of God and friends.  If this is your life then we invite you to join us on Wednesday evenings for the Refresh worship service at 6:30 PM.  This service provides us with the opportunity to express our faith through music, to grow our faith through the presentation of a 10 minute homily, and to remember we are part of Christ's body by participating in communion.  This informal, relaxed, thirty minute service will certainly help all who participate to reconnect to God in the middle of a busy,  hectic week.

Communion and Baptism at Trinity

At Trinity, the sacraments of baptism and Holy Communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper, are important parts of our spiritual life and worship. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month and every Wednesday evening at 6:30. We practice an “open Table” which means if you are in attendance, you are free to receive what Christ has opened up to all people, regardless of church affiliation. Baptisms are administered during worship after the individual or family has had an opportunity to meet with a pastor. We baptize infants, children and adults using one of three methods: sprinkling, pouring or immersion. If you have any questions about the sacraments, or why we do what we do, feel free to contact us anytime.

Advent

The four weeks prior to Christmas are known as Advent.  This is a season in which we feel expectation for the coming of the Messiah and we also spend time reflecting on why we need a savior.  Advent begins on the fourth Sunday prior to Christmas Day.  Each Sunday in December we will celebrate, anticipate, and reflect.  We invite you to check the calendar for special advent programs.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is one of the most special nights of the year.  Join us on December 24th at 5:00 or 7:00 PM for a service filled with the sounds, sights, smells, and joys of the season.  Our candlelight and communion service provides the perfect setting to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
