Get Connected -- Make a Difference

As members of Christ's Church we pledge to serve the church through presences, gifts, prayers, and service.  Below are just a few of the many ways in which individuals can make a difference in someone's life and to help grow the body of Christ.

Worship

Each week come together for three distinct worship services.  These services are opportunities for us to encounter the living God.  In order for these services to be a gift to God, many individuals work together to create these services.  Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary, individuals serve as ushers and greeters, youth serve as acolytes and crucifiers.  For information about how you can contribute your gifts to the worship service, contact Rev. Vicky Peters.

Mission and Outreach

Jesus sent the disciples into the world to baptize, care, and nurture the people.  As his disciples today, we also go into the world feeding the homeless, caring for the children, and helping the elderly.  Opportunities are available to help prepare meals, do minor home repairs, tutor children, and much more.  For more information on making a difference in someone's life, contact Rev. Katy Ware.

Children and Youth

Can there be any greater gift to give a child than the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ?  Each week we strive to offer children opportunities to know Christ and to grow in relationship with him.  Individuals serve as chaperons, Sunday School teachers, Bible Study leaders, snack coordinators, and much more.  For opportunities to assist in children's ministry contact Adrian Farris.  To assist in the wacky and wonderful world of youth ministry contact Rev. Katy Ware.

Caring Ministries

Offering someone a little of bit time, a caring touch, and a thoughtful note and prayer are priceless gifts.  As a family we strive to care for one another through hospital visitation, welcoming new babies, visiting the homebound, giving blood, and offering words and actions of comfort during times of grief.  Each week individuals visit, call, and pray for one another.  To learn how you can reach out and touch someone contact Rev. Vicky Peters.

Small Group and Adult Ministries

Connecting as a church family is important.  Dining together, praying together, studying together, having fun together is all apart of being in a family.  Each week opportunities exist to help us grow closer as a family through study, prayer, fellowship, prayer, and fun.  To find your ideal way of sharing your gifts through small groups and fellowship contact Kim Anderson.
